Strengthening Communities
One youth and one family at a time.

Improving the lives of youth and families since 1981.
Connections was originally founded to provide shelter for at-risk and homeless youth in Comal County who had nowhere else to turn.
What started as a children’s shelter expanded over the years to include a transitional living home for older youth preparing to age out of foster care, low-barrier counseling services, and substance misuse prevention education and programming for school-aged children across more than a dozen south-central Texas counties.
